I
have to say that when it comes to wearing SPF, I'm not one who usually follows
the rules unless I'm on holiday. Something in my head says it's okay not to
wear SPF as I have a dark skin tone, which let’s be honest, is no excuse. It's
not okay for me to skip SPF just because I think my skin tone is less prone to
sun damage. I need an SPF just as much as the next person, regardless of the
fact that I tan and don't burn.
To put an end
to my bone-idle approach to SPF, I've been using the Simple Kind To Skin+
Protecting Moisture Cream*. The product itself is both UVA and UVB protective,
preventing any damage done by ultraviolet rays and in addition to this, it has
an SPF 30. As with all Simple products, this product is not artificially
scented which is great for my sensitive skin. It
also has a couple of vitamins and skin loving ingredients that are supposedly
very good for skin.
This
cream has got a purple undertone to it when it's applied to the skin, however
it disappears once it has been rubbed into the skin properly and that is
probably due to the SPF. I know I previously mentioned that it's not
artificially scented, the SPF within the product has a scent, which I
personally really like and it doesn't affect my sensitive skin. This is a very
moisturising product, so if like me, you suffer from dry or dehydrated skin,
this could be a good'n for you. Because of the moisturising properties, it
doesn’t add another step to your skincare routine and you can still apply
makeup over the top and it doesn't slip over the face.
Have
you tried this? What do you think?
